Yujia Li is a Chinese artist born in 2000, currently living and working in New York, USA. She grew up in Shenzhen, China, and moved to California, USA, in 2015. In 2023, Li graduated with a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design, USA. Her paintings and ceramics address the themes of ambiguity and concealment, which originate from the fear of revealing her true self (from being a Buddhist and queer) to her family.
